Nickel Alloy Forged Ring with High-strength, Highly Corrosion-resistant Core Industrial Component


High-precision nickel alloy forged rings are manufactured through free forging and ring rolling processes, with precision machining and polishing resulting in extremely high dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Their uniform inner and outer diameters and consistent wall thickness reflect a high level of forging and heat treatment control.

These forged rings are widely used in harsh operating conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, and strong corrosion, including applications in gas turbines, chemical reactors, marine equipment, and nuclear power systems.

Commonly used nickel alloy materials

Inconel 625 (UNS N06625): Excellent high-temperature and corrosion resistance, used in chemical equipment and offshore platforms.

Inconel 718 (UNS N07718): Precipitation-hardening alloy with high strength and fatigue resistance, commonly used in aero-engine ring components.

Inconel 600 / 601 (UNS N06600 / N06601): Resistant to oxidation and carbonization, suitable for heat treatment furnaces and exhaust systems.

Hastelloy C-22 / C-276 (UNS N06022 / N10276): Resistant to strong acids and chloride ion corrosion, used in chemical and pharmaceutical fields.

Monel 400 / K-500 (UNS N04400 / N05500): Resistant to seawater corrosion, used in marine and pump/valve systems.

Manufacturing Process

Forging Stage: Vacuum smelting or electroslag remelting ingots are used, followed by upsetting, punching, ring expansion, and ring rolling.

Heat Treatment: Solution treatment or aging treatment to improve grain structure and enhance toughness and corrosion resistance.

Machining: CNC lathe finishing to ensure dimensional accuracy and roundness.

Surface Treatment: Polishing to a metallic luster to reduce stress concentration and improve corrosion resistance.

Inspection and Testing: 100% ultrasonic testing (UT), penetrant testing (PT), dimensional and surface roughness inspection.
