Incoloy 800 UNS N08800 Nickel Alloy Forged Ring

Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800) nickel alloy forged rings are high-performance heat-resistant alloy components with excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. Fabricated by hot forging and ring rolling processes, these products feature dense microstructure and uniform grain structure. They retain superior mechanical properties and structural stability under high-temperature and corrosive service conditions, making them an ideal choice for petrochemical, heat treatment equipment, power generation and other high-temperature industrial applications.

Key Features

  • Excellent high-temperature strength: Capable of long-term stable service at 600–800°C.
  • Excellent oxidation resistance: Forms a stable protective oxide film at high temperatures.
  • Superior carburization resistance: Suitable for cracking furnaces and heat treatment service environments.
  • Stable microstructure: Resists embrittlement after long-term high-temperature exposure.
  • Good corrosion resistance: Compatible with a wide range of chemical media environments.
  • Good machinability & weldability: Supports forging, cutting and welding fabrication.

Typical Applications

  • Petrochemical: Applied to cracking & reforming reactors under high-temperature corrosive conditions.
  • Heat Treatment Equipment: Internal furnace load-bearing fixtures resistant to long-term cyclic high temperatures.
  • Power Industry: High-temperature pressure-bearing forged rings for boilers, heat exchangers and gas turbines.
  • Chemical Industry: Sealed pressure-bearing rings for high-temperature reactors and material conveying systems.
  • Nuclear Industry: Auxiliary load-bearing parts for nuclear facilities, with high temperature and radiation resistance.

Forging Ring Manufacturing Process

Manufactured from high-purity ingots via VIM + VAR, this product is formed through upsetting, punching, and seamless ring rolling to ensure optimal tangential grain orientation, significantly enhancing fatigue resistance and structural reliability; the rolled ring is then subjected to solution annealing at 980°C–1040°C followed by rapid water quenching to fully eliminate residual stresses and achieve the standard mechanical properties.

Quality Assurance

All of our Incoloy 800 forged rings undergo rigorous inspection, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT per ASTM A388), Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI), mechanical property verification (per ASTM B564 and ASTM E8/E21), OES chemical analysis, and full dimensional inspection using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Each shipment is accompanied by complete Material Test Certificates (MTC) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) reports.
