Inconel 718, as a high-performance nickel-based superalloy, has a unique alloy composition design that has earned it a significant role in modern industry.

1.High-Temperature Resistance: Inconel 718 maintains stable mechanical properties and corrosion resistance at temperatures up to 700°C (and even higher), thanks to its internal γ’’ phase (Ni3Nb) precipitation hardening mechanism. This mechanism significantly enhances the material’s creep and fatigue resistance at high temperatures, allowing it to retain excellent mechanical performance in high-temperature environments. In applications such as aircraft engines, where high-temperature performance is critical, this characteristic ensures the material’s reliability and longevity.

2.Corrosion Resistance: Inconel 718 exhibits outstanding corrosion resistance in a variety of corrosive environments, including oxidative, acidic, alkaline, and chloride ion conditions. This property makes it an ideal material for marine engineering fields, such as deep-sea drilling equipment and seawater pumps.
