GH230 seamless tubing (Haynes 230 / UNS N06230) is a nickel-chromium-tungsten solid-solution strengthened alloy offering exceptional high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and structural stability up to 1100°C.

• Temperature Capability: Exhibits excellent stability in continuous service at temperatures ranging from 700°C to 1050°C. Short-term exposure up to 1150°C is feasible without significant degradation.
• Oxidation & Corrosion Resistance: Forms a dense, adherent chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃) protective scale, providing superior resistance to high-temperature oxidation and carburization.
• Mechanical Strength: Maintains high tensile and creep-rupture strength at elevated temperatures. It demonstrates minimal plastic deformation under long-term mechanical stress.
• Structural Stability: The alloy is highly resistant to the formation of detrimental TCP (Topologically Close-Packed) phases, even after extended aging (e.g., 1000 hours at 800°C), ensuring long-term dimensional integrity.
