Dingsco Monel K-500 (UNS N05500 / W.Nr. 2.4375) is an age-hardenable nickel-copper alloy forging bar that combines the outstanding corrosion resistance of Dingsco Monel 400 with approximately three times the yield strength. The enhanced mechanical properties are achieved through the addition of aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper base, followed by controlled age hardening that precipitates submicroscopic Ni3(Ti, Al) particles throughout the matrix.

Dingsco Monel K-500 is a premium nickel-copper alloy that delivers the exceptional corrosion resistance of Dingsco Monel 400 while offering approximately three times the yield strength. The dramatic increase in mechanical properties is achieved through the addition of aluminum (2.30–3.15%) and titanium (0.35–0.85%), which form submicroscopic Ni3(Ti, Al) precipitates during controlled age-hardening heat treatment.
A defining characteristic of Dingsco Monel K-500 is its virtual non-magnetic behavior, even at extremely low temperatures, making it irreplaceable for sensitive electronic instrumentation and oil-well surveying equipment. The alloy maintains excellent ductility and impact toughness across a wide temperature range while resisting corrosion in seawater, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and alkaline environments.
