UNS N08825 Incoloy 825 plate is a titanium-stabilized nickel-iron-chromium alloy with molybdenum and copper additions. It offers excellent corrosion resistance in reducing acids, chloride media and sour gas environments, combined with reliable weldability and formability for corrosive process equipment fabrication. It is particularly suitable for acid service vessels, flue gas desulfurization scrubbers and offshore corrosion-resistant assemblies.
Incoloy 825 plate is widely used in sulfuric acid digesters, pickling baskets, marine exhausts, separators, heat exchangers, and other process components requiring NACE-compliant sour corrosion resistance.
Titanium stabilization prevents intergranular corrosion after welding.
Molybdenum and copper additions deliver strong resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking.
Qualified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156-3 for sour gas (H₂S) service.
Good ductility, formability and excellent weldability.
Stable mechanical properties over a wide working temperature range.
Sulfuric acid digesters and phosphoric acid evaporators for fertilizer industry.
Pickling baskets and internal components of steel pickling lines.
Marine exhaust systems and offshore platform process equipment.
Sour oil & gas separators, wellhead manifolds and process skids (NACE sour service).
Chemical reactors, acid storage tanks and industrial wastewater treatment vessels.
